Last night I had the pleasure of dining with two of my favorite bloggers. Wait, we were friends before we were blog junkies. The lines of blogland are very, very blurry ya’l!
Noche in VaHi was the dining location. MiMi and Keyalus were my dining companions. I was excited because it had been two full months since I had laid eyes on Mrs. Keyalus and I am always honored to dine with the Countess.
Monday nights at Noche offers $10 all you can eat tapas. This is a great way to try out a restaurant without breaking the bank. It seemed everyone was getting that deal. So bite-sized plates of salads, chicken with hominy, cod and sticky rice, risotto and maduros were constantly whizzing past us. The food was pretty good. Sure I’ve had better tapas in Atlanta, but not for a ten-spot! My fave dish was the cod and sticky rice. I could have had an entree sized portion of that and called it a day.
I had a mojito and it was just okay, though the server raved about it and it took forever to make. Keyalus did not enjoy her sangria at all. But she ain’t heavy, she’s my brother so I picked up the slack and drank some of hers too. I have to agree, it was just okay.
Overall, I’d have to say the food and drink at Noche was average. However, at that price it is likely that I would be willing to return again. Would I go on a regular night and pay full price? Likely not. There are just too many places in Atlanta to eat.
Noche is a part of the restaurant group that owns Shout, Strip, Lola and Home. Each of the restaurants in the group have some sort of special on one night of the week. Next up, $10 pizza and salad at Lola!

FYI – It’s ‘restaurant’ week with the Concentric group of restaurants. $25 for 3 course meal. (One Midtown, Two Urban Licks, Tap, ect.). Last night I went to Tap…I’d recommend skipping that. However, the fabulous waiter suggested Tap on a Friday night if you like lawyers. I witnessed a handful of hubba-hubba-hotness.
Did yall plan to sorta dress alike?
I heard Frank Ski say that Atlanta is the best place in the country to open a restaurant, if you open one there it has a better chance of succeeding there than anywhere else.
It was good for $10 but not for full price. Maybe the full price tapas taste better? Still good to see you Babsie and I promise not to get ghost again! BTW, that lemon cupcake was the truth!
Good to see the posse out and about!
Keyalus, I got my shooting star down! Trying to be like you!
You take classes at the spot CaliSlim? Shooting Star is Level 5 right? Go ahead girl! I have class tonight (after skipping graduation oops). I’ve been missing it already!
Yes ma’am. I just graduated from Level 3. That’s the level I learned the shooting star. I’m going the whole way, hopefully!!!
Lol – ladies are you referring to a certain type of entertainment dancing that involves stilettos and a pole? (pole-la-teaz). I was wondering if any people signed up for the classes.
anks-thay or-fay eing-bay ubtle-say, K.I.M! (lol)
lmao. My bad for blowing your spot up! I’m VERY impressed! Sooo…ahh, nevermind, I’ll just ask the next time I see you!
