Spring Fling May 4, 2008

Last night’s Spring Fling was a huge success. The party started at 600 630 and didn’t end until the wee hours of the morning. I think my guests had a fabulous time. There were plenty of delicious cocktails and lots of yummy food.
My guests included Deuce, MiMi, Keyalus, Intern, Clem, Chesty LaRue and Little Miss. Clem brought along a piece of high-yella eye candy, which I normally wouldn’t give a second glance to, but this one was smelling manly and was just the perfect size. I think I may have scared him with my extra-long hug at the door on his way out. My boy Sexual Chocolate made a surprise appearance. It had been a while since I had seen him. And Petite Pearl came along with her husband. I’ve missed PP and I’ve always liked her husband. He’s cool people. Perhaps it’s because he hails from the heart of it all. You know we are all like minded people.
I handed my guests a drink menu upon their arrival.
The Woo-Woo was by far the most popular. And by the second drink they were calling it the Woo-Hooooooo! It was so popular, in fact, that PP’s husband and Sexual Chocolate had to make a run to the store for more schnapp’s so we could keep the woo-woos flowing.
The food was delicious. My girls really went all out for this occasion. We had curry chicken, chicken pasta salad, braised short ribs, and Keyalus’ turkey meatball surprise- little packages of doughy goodness.
I had intended for us to play some games, but we never got around to it. I guess that is the sign of a good party when people are are having so much fun they don’t want to stop what they are doing.
As I was going through the pictures this morning I realized someone had gotten a hold of my camera last night. There were plenty of pictures taken that I don’t even recall. What I do recall is all the video footage that was taken. I had so much fun with the renaissance fest video I thought I’d put together a little montage for you all from last night.

That looked like fun and those drinks sound yummy. You’ve really come out of your shell, Babs. From black oval to video montages… I’m loving it.

As one who attended Babs Fabulous Spring Fling! I had a BALL!!! We had so much fun. It was a nice mixture of males and females. Babs always throws a GREAT party. And the Woo woo’s were off the change. FYI that drink is also known as a silk panty. (smile) And I too agree Mimi is good people! She’s hilarious!

I would like to state for the record that Babs was sick all day Friday and Saturday. So her dreadful appearance at the end of the night was in part due to being exhausted and hopped up on cold medicine.
It was good times…and that pasta salad? I wish I woulda had some tupperware in my car to take some home with me! I don’t even know what to say about the video, I know it was going to be interesting, but I think that video may have been better than the Renaissance videos! LOL
It was great meeting you Deuce (and thanks for the kudos KKAve.) I don’t only make appearances at Babs’ event, I’m also available for birthdays, weddings, bar mitzvahs and divorce parties! LMAO
